We do not have a compulsory training sports kit for juniors though it is available for purchase here.
Safety
The safety of your children is very important to us. With such a great turn out on a Tuesday night for the under 10’s please could parents ensure that you register your child’s/children attendance with Mike when you arrive. We understand some parents need to leave their children at hockey and return later. If this is the case you can allocate responsibility to another parent or provide us with a contact number. When training is finished please could you once again register children out with Mike.
Fixtures
Under 10s & Under 12s will play a number of Festivals in the 2021/2022 season. Look for “Festival” below.
Under 14/15 (mixed boys/girls) will play a series of Friendlies this upcoming 2021/2022 season. Look for “Friendly” below.
Training Times
7-9 yrs: Tuesdays – 6:00pm til 7:00pm 10-13 yrs: Tuesdays – 7:00pm til 8:00pmTraining Information
What clothing should I wear?
Please ensure children are wearing appropriate clothing especially as the nights get colder. It is good for them to wear several layers that they can remove as they warm up in training, hats and gloves for when it is very cold.Is there any specialist equipment?
Although injury in this age group is minimal we would strongly advise children do wear mouth guards and shin pads during training. This is especially important during matches which we try to include in every training session. These are available in junior sizes in most sports shops and online. We always have plenty of spare hockey sticks for children to borrow.Fixtures & Results
